Dear Vox Veniae,
I am sharing my heart with great burden. Our outreach church at Cheyyur, Kanchipuram (DT) was demolished / hit by the heavy cyclone on 2nd March 2009. This building was constructed one year ago only. After much struggle, we were able to raise Rs. 1, 50,000 to build the church. We have many people who are coming from unchurched backgrounds. Our orphanage children and our staff are worshiping in this church. Kindly do uphold us in your prayers for the financial need to rebuild the church in the same area. We thank God for protecting our people from the being hurt, as there was no one was inside the church building when it was hit by the storm.
Now a temporary shed has been laid but it can not accommodate our orphan children and other members. This is the greatest need for us. Most of the people in this church are coming from fishermen colony and villages.
