Local

We are passionate about fulfilling people's physical and emotional needs, but ultimately, our dream is to see Jesus' love stir souls. Local is a group and a way of living and seeing our neighbors. Our purpose is to support not only each other, but, and this is the more difficult part, to support, love, befriend and help our neighbors; particularly those society and church culture have forgotten or shunned.

Jesus calls on all of us, as pieces of the Body of Christ, to serve the world around us. Whether you have done anything like this before or not, we want you.

What We Do

Local helps facilitate involvement between Vox and the community around them by organizing numerous volunteer opportunities and partnerships with other organizations in Austin.
